IS THIS REALLY DEVELOPMENT?

There is more than one prison for animals, they are tortured and imprisoned in the labs too.

In the name of science, animals are tortured and killed. There are many such painful experiments done on these innocent creatures-

1) Force feeding pesticides.

2) Rubbing corrosive chemicals on their eyes.

3) Testing vaccines and cosmetics on them.

All of these experiments and  tests are extremely harmful to the animals and in most cases costs them their lives. In no case i would call this development in the field of science. The correct word for this act by us humans is cruelty.

Animals have their free and individual lives. They are not the property of us humans to use and destroy. Many things ranging from medicines, vaccines to cosmetics are tested on animals. Even if they do survive the tests and experiments, their lives can never be the same ever again. The after effects of such experiments can turn out to be fatal to these animals.

There are many white rats and also monkeys used in such experiments where the vaccines are tested on them. Many animals are killed in this process and this is harmful for their mental health too to keep them in such closed spaces for such a long time to do tests on them. They too feel anxiety and emotional pain when they are away from their families.

They are kept in such small and closed spaces and many painful experiments are done on them.

One of such tests done on cats are to record their brain waves and responses to various stimuli. This may sound attractive or interesting but during these experiments, chips and various such things are put in them through their ears which causes them a lot of pain and might also do permanent damage to their hearing ability which is important for the survival of a cat.

What if you were caught from your home and put in cage away from your loved ones where you feel safe. People put needles in you and do things to you that gives you pain and makes you feel terrified. Wouldn't all this cause you to feel anxious and depressed? They feel it too.

It is not just the grown animals who fall in this hole and never come back, its many kittens and puppies too. At a tender age where they are to be given love and attention from their parents, when they are supposed to be happy and play around with their siblings, they are put to such cruel and torturous activities which destroy their lives.

The problem is, that we humans think of ourselves as superior and think that we can do whatever we want to do to the nature and other beings. If that is our mentality, we are not superior, we are inferior.

Humans with their ability to achieve and invent have brought great things to the world. But we have failed in the most basic and necessary value in life- kindness.

If we can reach the moon, create electricity, make supercomputers, we can at least find an alternative way to test our medicines, vaccines, cosmetics etc. In some other way which does not harm the innocent creatures.

The eyes of these innocent creatures are pleading for help and mercy. But our cruel, selfish and greedy vision has blinded us and made us deaf that we cannot see their tears and hear their cries.

They are not made for us to use. If we are granted with such intelligence, why use it for destruction when we can bring peace and happiness. 

If animals could speak, the humanity would feel ashamed.

When i was doing my research for the content, after a while, i had to stop and close my computer. I was surprised to see what cruelty we humans have done and are doing for the sake of science. I was terrified and felt ashamed. I felt that all animals deserve to look down upon us for what we have done and what we are doing. But, animals are better than humans, they do not know hatred or greed like us humans. They are pure souls.

The topic of this blog, a question to thus humanity- Is this really development?

My opinion is that this is not development, it is cold blooded murder.We kill and torture them for our greed. How can one call this evil deed development?

Either we leave them to die of hunger on the streets, kill them to eat them or destroy them in the name of science.

 We destroy their homes and make our own and we call this development. 

We fill their homes with toxic chemicals from our factories and we call that development.

We make more and more cars which pollutes the air which makes it difficult for birds to live and we call it development.

We chain them up and beat them to make them act in the zoo and circuses and we call it development.

We make the animals homeless and leave them starving and we call it development.

This is not development. Of course it isn't, but greed is making us do terrible things, making us forget the true meaning of humanity, and the poor animals are paying for it. 

Lets not make them pay for our mistakes, they have not done anything wrong to deserve such cruelty from humans.

I think Robert Frost was correct after all, the world will end with ice as there is much hatred to suffice.
