WHAT CAN YOU DO? In this world where i see cruelty being done to innocent creatures, i do not just sit and complain about it. I believe in taking immediate and effective actions. In the previous posts, i have mentioned various kinds of cruelty. In this blog, i will talk about what we, the common people can do to bring an end to this. I have already talked about how you can help the stray animals around you. Check out my previous posts to read about it! There are various types of animal cruelty or animal abuse. like- Killing Hoarding Shooting Domestic violence Hunting Mutilating Caging Neglect Tests and experiments And many more. Eating non vegetarian food is also a type of cruelty towards animals. So, what can you do tho save these innocent creatures? It is quiet simple if you are willing to help the animals by doing a few things. 1] Know what you are buying          There are a lot of cosmetics, skin care and hair care products which are

IS THIS REALLY DEVELOPMENT? There is more than one prison for animals, they are tortured and imprisoned in the labs too. In the name of science, animals are tortured and killed. There are many such painful experiments done on these innocent creatures- 1) Force feeding pesticides. 2) Rubbing corrosive chemicals on their eyes. 3) Testing vaccines and cosmetics on them. All of these experiments and  tests are extremely harmful to the animals and in most cases costs them their lives. In no case i would call this development in the field of science. The correct word for this act by us humans is cruelty. Animals have their free and individual lives. They are not the property of us humans to use and destroy. Many things ranging from medicines, vaccines to cosmetics are tested on animals. Even if they do survive the tests and experiments, their lives can never be the same ever again. The after effects of such experiments can turn out to be fatal to these animals. There are

A HAPPY FAMILY Hello everyone and welcome to my new post!!  All of you have been really appreciating my content and i want to thank you all for that. now, lets get to the topic, shall we? All of you know Ginger and Cobu. Today, i will give you a detailed discussion and introduction to her little kittens. They have been coming to my house with ginger since a few days now. But the best thing is that ginger does not mind me going near the kittens. She is ok even if i touch them and play with them. Its like she has chosen me as their babysitter, She would leave them at my house and then go somewhere to find food or to just take a good nap. As ginger is minding her business, these little troublemakers would get to their mischief. They would play-fight with each other or try to climb things. They are very playful and curious as all kittens should be. The kittens are not yet very familiar with me being around them so they are still a bit hes

A CAT YET TO BEFRIEND All of you know my best friend ginger........ I mentioned her in one of my previous blogs which you should check out if you haven't checked it out so go quick!! Check out that blog and then come back to read this one. Now that you're back, Let's get on with the topic of this blog. As you know i befriended a female stray cat recently which surprisingly did not take much effort. But, a few days ago, i had new visitor. Unlike ginger he was too hesitant to come close to me and let me give him milk. I would make one move and he would run away like he saw a ghost. Just like ginger, he is a stray cat too. Well, 'he' has a name too, its Cobu. So, this is Cobu, a cat i am yet to befriend. In this photo, he looks kind of angry, there is a reason for that. Apparently, Cobu and ginger do not get along at all. Cobu sometimes tries to approach ginger maybe just to say hi, but ginger would always shoo him away. She would

LETS THINK DIFFERENT What if i tell you that the things you have been seeing, hearing and believing all this time is wrong. Lets jump straight to the point of this blog. In India, eating meat is not as popular as many other foreign countries. In many countries, it is believed that eating meat is what is going to make you strong. Is that correct? Lets see. I got the idea for this blog from a documentary about meat versus plant based diets, not only for normal people, but for athletes. I also did some research about this topic on various sources. All the doctors and many athletes had one thing to say- "meat isn't the best thing to eat".  So lets compare meat and plants. 1] Meat has high cholesterol whereas has plants do not. Plants actually help you reduce cholesterol. 2] Meats have very high amount of unhealthy fats which does not do any good to the body. On the other hand, plants help you cut down fat and add good cholesterol to your body.

TOUCHING THE KING   AND EXPLORING THE WILD. Have you ever thought, what would it be like to touch a lion, the king of the jungle? You would say- touching a lion? yeah sure, if you want to get eaten alive. It is not like that, a lion whose stomach is full, is at peace mentally and physically would never attack a human. Animals are not as dangerous and unpredictable as we think. Of course, if we go out of our way to annoy or torture them, they will surely attack. That is natural. If acted with and interacted gently, animals can be very gentle too. In this blog of mine, i will talk about what i experienced when i traveled to the land of Africa where a huge population of animals reside. I visited many national parks where animals roam freely in their natural habitat and humans go and explore.  This is the best way to view these majestic beings. Locking them up in cages is not the best way. They had very strict rules at the Kruger national park of Africa. During the safari,

HOW I BEFRIENDED GINGER   You are probably wondering who 'ginger' is? Well, she is a stray cat who arrived at my home one day. She was hungry, thirsty, scared and shivering. She was so scared, she would not let me go near her and help her. She kept meowing at me loudly as if asking for help. I sat down cross-legged in front of her and spoke to her in a calm and soft voice. That seemed to calm her nerves.  I had no cat food available at home and i could not get out of my house due to the current covid situation. I had nothing to give her but some milk and water. I gave her some milk. she was so hungry, she did not take a minute to lick that bowl empty. She kept meowing at me after she had the milk. I guess she wanted more, so i gave her another bowl of milk. She licked that off in a minute too.  She is a really talkative cat and would keep meowing at me to get my attention. She cautiously came a little close to me to sniff my feet. Cats sniff the feet of people fo
